    Founder, CEO

    Yolanda Thornton founded Moongate Inc. in 2009. Her experience spans over 30 years in the communications industry, and roles with national consumer lifestyle magazines and broadcast sales including 14 years as the Director of Advertising Sales and Marketing at Harrowsmith Country Life Magazine. Yolanda has a deep understanding of how Canadians get their information, entertainment and engage socially. She’s well versed in developing traditional and online communications strategies, magazines and content to create audience engagement, community involvement and loyalty.

  • Wayne MacPhail

    Digital Brand Strategist

    Wayne is a digital strategist with extensive experience in traditional, online and communication strategy development. He has assisted clients like Random House establish digital outreach programs, the Association of Science and Technology, McMaster Family Medicine, rabble.ca, and the University of Toronto, Engineering Dept. reimagine their communications strategies for emerging media landscapes. Wayne’s expertise is a perfect compliment to the strategic experience Moongate has developed through years of working with clients, and assisting them to work lean, smart and economically.

  • Jacqueline Court

    Brand Strategist

    Jacqueline is an experienced content producer and strategist who has worked with brands such as Canadian Tourism Commission, Fairmont Hotels, Scotiabank, WINNERS, Tetley Canada and more. For the past 15 years she has worked with top advertising agencies such as DDB Canada, FCB Canada, Bensimon Byrne and EURO RSCG. Her combined background as a strategist and writer has given her great insight into developing and executing content strategies for Canadian brands.

  • Allyson Wenzowski

    Publicity and Media Communications Director

    Allyson is a public relations and communications specialist.  A veteran in the communications and public relations field for over two decades, she has worked for a variety of organizations in the not- for- profit and business sectors including the federal government, educational institutions, museums, artist co-operatives and galleries, and small town newspapers.   A published author, poet and photographer, she now resides in an 1870 Victorian row house in Hamilton’s colourful West Harbour District adjacent to the Bayfront Trail.
